Part 1 - A Geodesic grid formed over the map of England and Wales by a series of Alignments of High Peaks and Prehistoric Standing Stones.

Part 2 - The Alignment of Romano British Fortresses, Settlements and Markstones on to River Crossings in the Midlands, particularly on to the Trent and Avon.

Part 3 - An Appraisal of the Layout of the Fosse Defensive System to control the Britanni in the West, with associated Alignments. Arguments for the true alignment of the Fosseway through Narborough Leicester, and for the revised location of Tripontium and Venonis. The delineation of the prehistoric lake at Croft and the effect that the existence of this lake has on Croft Hill, Leicestershire as the site for the British 'Omphalos'. Alignments through Ratby Burroughs, Leics, confirming the importance of this Military Establishment, and the reference to Ratae.

Part 4 - An alignment of Fortresses and Military Establishments from the South Coast to Hadrian's Wall.
